On 29th October the British Army made a superb presentation at Battle Abbey in the Abbots Hall. Two representatives from Brownbread were invited to attend together with a host of dignitaries including Lord Lieutenant, Mayors, High Sheriffs, Councillors as well as charity trustees and other business persons. There was high security including a card swipe to identify each visitor and then wine or other drinks were available. The public had ample opportunity to ask questions at the end and even the awkward questions were answered although, like politicians, the answer was not always the answer to the question that was asked! After the presentation there was more wine and food with a lot of networking and chat with many of the army personnel on duty.
